My First Bannock Making Kit was inspired by my Grandson Miles. From a very young age my Grandson was by my side in the kitchen cooking and baking alongside me. One of his favorite things to make with me was Bannock. He always enjoyed using cookie cutters to make fun shapes out of his Bannock Dough.
Seeing Miles love of making Bannock with me and learning more about the Metis Culture at the same time. Inspired me to create a Kit just for kids.
I believe teaching children how to help in the kitchen at a young age is a vital life skill to teach, not just about cooking but the nutrition aspect as well. After all Food is Medicine.
